Sijama llamas is located in the heart of the Willamette Valley in Oregon. We are about 15 miles south of Portland set up against the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. A beautiful 21 acres of rolling pasture and wooded land is home to our 45 llamas and two cats.
Marilyn and I built our farm from scratch. In 1989 we decided to try packing with llamas (my bad back made the decision) and purchased our first two boys. We still have them and continue to hike the mountains of the Northwest.
Over the years, we have developed a herd of exceptionally fine quality show animals. Today our very tall, athletic and well conformed breeding stock continues to win ALSA shows all over the Northwest and our herd name is recognized throughout the country for the finest show animals anywhere.
